I'm very happy to be able to share with you the first piece of a big project that I've been working on for a long time. Even more so on this platform where I always look for inspiration and learn a lot from the artists here and developers. I have always been interested in cinema, games and animation and today I feel prepared to put into practice the skills I have acquired in recent months. With Unreal Engine I'm having the opportunity to start my SciFi web series that I've always wanted with a quality I never imagined.
To create this character, I sculpted the head in Zbrush and with Metahuman technology I was able to add the Rigs within the engine itself.
After that I made some changes to the body mesh using Blender and sent it back to UE. Just to give it a more unique characteristic.
Your clothes were made in Marvelous Designer 12. It was possible to give the fabric a more natural movement and export it to the UE as an ALC file.
I created the face textures using Zbrush (Normal Map and Color) and with the help of one of the maps from the 3D ScanStore it was possible to achieve an incredible level of detail and then add the exported maps to a skin shader that I created in the UE.
The clothing textures were made in Photoshop and Gimp.
The hair was made with Xgen and in the engine I created a custom shader to have greater color control and bring more realism.
