Environment & Prop Artist

Mid-level. Fully remote within the India

You'll primarily involved in the creation of both realistic natural and some hard surface environments for our internal and external Co-Dev projects.

Thee role will involve collaborating with Leads, other artists and partner studios to understand and implement correct file naming and directory structure requirements. As part of the team, you will maintain the high standard of modelling, texturing and PBR material creation.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of the broader game development and art creation process

  • Ability to supplement a provided brief with your own research and ideas while ensuring delivery of the brief’s core requirements

  • Experience creating environments, preferably levels and dressing. Ambient storytelling is key.

  • High proficiency in Blender or Max, Unreal, Zbrush and Substance or equivalent packages. Blender Preferable

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 & 5

Desirable

  • Proven experience with at least one shipped AAA title

  • Able to communicate clearly with the rest of your team and be willing to both give and receive feedback

  • Lighting, Sculpting, Level Design, blueprinting, or prior experience of project tools for file & task management such as Perforce, Jira and Trello would be beneficial
