Vetrise was a gifted child, inquisitive of the world around her and eager to learn about it. Once taught their family’s mission was to restore their name and their people, she took to it with all seriousness beyond that of her mother. She began to study after Ilinca’s work in understanding their inner workings, blood and the influence the abyss.

She had always been close with her elder brother Varen and took care of Cachusa during her episodes. This would end when Varen and his family were killed by the gravuzie, grieving apart from her family by delving into her studies. Before she was even able to graduate, Vladmir Blair, considered the greatest mind in Kolonia, approached Vetrise. His proposition was to join her mind to his association for the future of the Penumbra and possibly end the Gravuzie plague. Despite Blair being a sworn enemy of House Arcturus, she would use his resources as much as he planned to with her. She would find herself among other Penumbra specifically a part of Moon sect, taking up the alias of Ovara Marie.

Estranged from her family for many moons, Vetrise would find herself learning in the world outside of Kolonia. She was located by Lumas Interlo members where she would learn of what befell her sister.

The abyssmal shroud allows Ovara to travel through shadows much like Mauradyne's Shadow glyph, but with a two mile radius. Ensorceled weaving bound with essence of abyss, it would take a very high level practitioner of the black artes to dawn such a garb.

An initiate rank sorceress attire within Moon Sect. Vetrise did not spend long at this rank, rather a process of formality given there are rules and conduct meant to learn before advancing.
