As we were building the city ruins environment in-engine, we faced issues with how the ruins looked at first :
- collapsed walls and ceilings looked like bland holes, missing indications of the past structural integrity
- some of the destruction didn't always make sense
- some buildings looked impractical
- ruin's details would impair the player navigation and create visual noise if not placed thoughtfully
This document was made to adress all these issues, and help the environment artists in their work. Leading us to make a more believable & balanced scenery for the vestiges of Raslan city.
